Daniel Dwight Tosh born May 29,  is an American comedian, television host, actor, writer, and executive producer. He is known for his deliberately offensive and controversial style of black comedy , as the host of the Comedy Central television show Tosh. After graduating from Astronaut High School in , Tosh attended the University of Central Florida , graduating in December with a degree in marketing. Among his first jobs was a telemarketer at Central Florida Research Park. He said later,. I really was not preparing myself for the future at all. I had interviews lined up. By Denise Petski. Comedy Central is staying in business with Daniel Tosh. The network and Tosh have closed an overall deal that includes a four-season, episode extension for Tosh. O , as part of a first-look deal that would take the long-running franchise through its 16th season. The deal would cover new scripted and unscripted development that would potentially feature Tosh on camera, as well as vehicles for other talent. Comedy Central and Tosh are currently in discussions for an unscripted series in which Tosh would host and executive produce and a script deal for which he would serve as an executive producer.
