How often do you and your spouse have sex? When my husband and I first starting dating, we did it every free minute we had. Which translated to a couple of times a week.

Dear Roe: I’ve spoken to him many times, but he reverts to the same behaviour
Sexual difficulties are among the most common difficulties in marriages. Underneath it all, though, is usually a big misunderstanding. There are usually a lot of other reasons that they want to have sex with you. And these reasons are usually a lot more kind and sincere than the ones that first come to your head.
Help!I cant keep up with my husband’s sexual demands
Every night in households across America, as children sleep peacefully in their beds and husbands usually lounge on the couch with a bag of chips and watch television, women are tirelessly working. There are clothes to be ironed, next-day lunches to be made, lists to be written, and doors to be locked. Some men may command these roles, but more often than not, the maternal figure is tending to these responsibilities. As the man moves from the couch to the bed and waits on his lovely lady to join him, she still isn't done. For some women, night cream has to be applied, chin hairs need to be plucked, and ashy knees and elbows need to be lotioned.

Punishing a partner for not having sex by being disrespectful, emotionally distant or angry creates a dynamic where saying no to sex becomes imbued with anxiety or even fear of emotional retaliation. Consent is enthusiastic. Agreeing to sex only to avoid punishment is not consent. It is the result of coercion. You know your partner better than I do, however, and there is a possibility that he is not trying to be manipulative or cruel but is feeling rejected and reacting to those feelings immaturely. Being the partner with a higher sex drive can leave a person vulnerable. To be clear, his sulking is still unacceptable. But his feeling hurt is easier to deal with than his feeling entitled.
